Brown's double-double lands him Player of the Week award

26-year old American center Moses Brown (218-C-1999) had an amazing evening in the last week for second-ranked Criollos de Caguas and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for week 6.
He had a double-double of 23 points and 16 rebounds, while his team beat Guaynabo (#6, 3-6) 105-92. Criollos was forced-out from the top positions in Puerto Rican league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Caguas will need more victories to improve their 6-3 record. Brown just recently signed at Criollos, being already a very valuable addition to the team. University of California at Los Angeles graduate has very impressive stats this year. Brown is in league's top in points (9th best: 17.3ppg), assists (4th best: 0.3apg) and averages solid 2.5bpg and 57.4% FGP.

Second best performed player last week was Jordan Murphy (200-F/C-1997) of Leones de Ponce. He is naturalized U.S. Virgin Islands forward in his first season at Ponce. In the last game Murphy recorded an impressive 26 points and 7 rebounds. Bad luck as Leones lost that game 77-83 to slightly higher-ranked Aguada (#2, 6-3). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the top position in Group A. Ponce still maintains its place in the top 4 of the standings, even despite this loss. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 4-7 record. Murphy is a newcomer at Ponce and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to another Caguas' star - guard Travis Trice II (183-PG-1993). Trice II showcased his all-around game by recording 20 points, 5 rebounds and 13 assists (!!!) in the last week. He was another key player of Criollos de Caguas, helping his team with a 105-92 easy win against the lower-ranked Guaynabo (#6, 3-6). Criollos needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in Group B. Their record at this point is 6 victories and 3 lost games. Trice II has a great season in Puerto Rico. After only 9 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 22.1ppg (3rd best) and assists with 9.9apg (best passer). He also has a FGP of 55.4% and 3PT: 43.5%.

9. Michael O'Connell (188-G) of Caguas - 19 points, 4 rebounds and 7 assists
10. Louis King (201-F-1999) of Caguas - 22 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists
